Almost a decade

Karina and I go way back. We met at Long Beach State and quickly became good friends. She helped me grow my photography and videography portfolio by volunteering to be my talent. We did Beyonce lip sync videos and graduation photographs her final year. Then I finally met Josh for the first time during her graduation. We shared great memories together like Karina’s big birthday party in Santa Barbara. Whatever happens in Santa Barbara, stays in Santa Barbara (LOL).

Fast forward maybe a year or two later, I photographed Josh and Karina’s wedding day in Costa Mesa at the Avenue of the Arts venue. It was a beautiful day, and I haven’t seen Karina so happy in her life. There were some tears but more than anything, happiness.

Fast forward maybe six years later, Karina and Josh linked up with me for a gorgeous family photo session in Claremont, CA. This is the beauty of being someone’s photographer for almost a decade. As family and wedding photographers, we have the privilege to see families grow and blossom. Photographs are a way to document the past, so photographers like myself can reflect the beauty of relationships, family, and growth.
